Purple Rain
Ingredients
1 1/2 oz Vodka
1 oz Blue Curacao
1 oz Cranberry juice
1 oz Lemonade
3/4 oz Grenadine
Garnishes
None
Glass
Preparation
Pour the ingredients into the shaker, Fill with lots of ice.
Shake well until mixed.
Serve over ice in a hurricane glass or any glass of choice.
Squeeze fresh lime over the drink.
Rim glass with purple sugar.
History
The Purple Rain cocktail was created in the 1980s as a nod to the popular music album and movie of the same name by Prince.
