Sex on the Beach
Ingredients
1 1/2 oz Vodka
2/3 oz Peach schnapps
2 oz Orange juice
2 oz Cranberry juice
Garnishes
1 whole Cherry
1 slice Orange
Glass
Preparation
Combine all the ingredients, in a shaker filled with ice cubes.
Shake vigorously for 8 to 10 seconds.
Strain into a highball glass containing a few ice cubes using an ice strainer.
Garnish with the orange slice and maraschino cherry on a cocktail pick.
History
There are thousands of different recipes bearing the name Sex on the Beach. It's not all that surprising when you consider the selling power of the word «sex»! That's also why so many bartenders appropriated the name of the original recipe to use for their own concoctions.
