Preparation

Add the light rum, blue curaÃ§ao, pineapple juice, cream of coconut and lemon juice into a shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a hurricane glass over crushed or pebble ice. Garnish with a pineapple wedge, cherry and cocktail umbrella.

Description

The Blue Hawaiian is a fun, refreshing cocktail made with rum, cream of coconut, pineapple juice, and Curacao liqueur to create its signature blue color. Invented in Hawaii in the 1950s. Be careful, it's easy to confuse the blue Hawaiian with the blue Hawaii cocktail.
